Day 14 - Meow

Another coffee portrait.  Herr Schrodinger!  I like the way these are becoming more free flowing and sketchy in ways.  I think it's becoming easier to use the coffee the way I want it and not over-blend or over work.

Day 12

I decided to do something. On one page of my little sketchbook, I did a sketch of what I thought I looked like without looking at myself...or as close as I could get with no reference.  Then I held up my tablet with a black screen to look at myself again and draw what I saw. (I couldn't find an actual mirror).

The result was as expected. I am an ugly mo-fo, who cannot draw worth shit! lol  *sigh*  Maybe I will do this again sometime, but right now I feel awful and hate looking at myself. 

I'm gonna draw something fun next.

Got a new white marker to play with.  Still wish I could scan subtle detail correctly, but oh well.  I am too lazy to take photos and go through that process every day. lol

Ok, I'll admit...I've been depressed.  Still looking for a way to scan pencils effectively.  So far no dice.

Day One: Bought a new cream colored sketchbook as a celebration of this new project.  This is seriously the first thing I doodled in it.  ... looking forward to the rest of the year.

Testing this here website's workings.  The plan, you see, is to start a Sketch-A-Day blog.  But as of yet, I don't know how easily I can put things up here, so...hence the trying.
