OK, so...I freaking love trees...a LOT. So when I went out with my boyfriend to see Captain America I saw a trailer that included a raccoon with a gun and a tree man. Yes. It had to be seen. I have been wanting to do cheesy fanart of Groot since I saw the movie. Eric told me we should have a Groot day, so we both drew him and posted him today... Here is Eric's. I love his version, and I like the version I did too. The gag made me giggle when I was sketching it out. That's about all I have to say about that...Until tomorrow, folks!

Day 83
This is for my boyfriend, Eric. I wanted to draw Hellboy, so this is what came out. Lost some subtlety in the scan, but what's new? haha! Hope he gets a kick out of it.

Day 82
Another creepy lady and trees. One of my important markers died today. I also found out that a white marker I had actually gets more white as it dries...and smears gel pen. I may be able to work with that...I used it under marker in this one a little bit.

Day 81
I have been up too long. I should be sleeping. Sometimes, when I am not sure what to sketch, I like to look at creepy old photos and find someone to sketch and then add to as I feel drawn. (Get it, DRAWN??) Yeah, I need sleep. Here's a picture. 6.5ish by 9. For sale, $15 dollars. It's marker and gel pen. Boom, day over.

Day 80
I started a new job today with some crazy hours and a lot of new information~ I am crazy tired. Here is a doodle for the evening, and hopefully I get enough sleep to sketch tomorrow! I will. I must!

Day 79
This was supposed to be a cute clowny lemur to brighten up a down friend's day...but it became a scary fucking pedo-lemur of some sort as I was sketching it and I didn't want to do it over. lol *sigh* Fail.

Day 78
I still donno how I feel about this one. I think I needed a different shade of pencil or used the wrong markers or something...I don't really know. Sketched it while watching Dead Alive with Eric...the bloodiest show I think I have ever seen. This is 6" by 9", and for sale if anyone is interested. Actually, most anything I do on sheets of paper not attached to a book is for sale, and even if in a book...for the right price I'll cave. You see...I have this art supply addiction I can't really afford.... :)
